Brenda Shuler is a nurse and business owner well known locally as a community leader. As a foster parent, proud mom, and grandmother, she’s dedicated her life to advocating for children and ensuring they have access to safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environments. Brenda believes every student—regardless of background—deserves a well-rounded education that prepares them for the future. This means fighting for safe, modern schools and inclusive environments where all voices are heard and everyone can thrive. Brenda is committed to putting students first and working together with the rest of the BOE to make our schools stronger. She is eager to listen, collaborate, and bring her experience to the table to help shape the future of education in Wallingford. The WDTC endorses and supports local Democratic candidates, and works with the CT Democratic State Central Committee and the Democratic National Committee. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.
