Alida Cella, the Chair of the Wallingford Democrats since 2020, was nominated in July to lead the Democratic ticket. Alida is a 20-year Wallingford resident, solar financing professional, small business owner, and a former union organizer. In addition to leading the WDTC for the past 5 years, she also served as Chair of the Beth Israel Synagogue of Wallingford for a decade. Alida has been an influential force in building Democratic momentum in Wallingford, and there’s no one better equipped to lead our talented group of candidates this election cycle and beyond. The WDTC endorses and supports local Democratic candidates, and works with the CT Democratic State Central Committee and the Democratic National Committee. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.
